There are 3 QualityKick environments:
- Test environment.
- Validation environment.
- Production environment.
The URL to your test environment will be [companyname]-test.qualitykick.cloud
The purpose of the test environment is for you to try out new functionalities and be able to give us valuable feedback on these new features.
Items from test should not be transferred to production since functionalities will differ. For example variables that exist in test environment may not exist yet in production environment.
Users in test environment are not invoiced.
The test environment is differentiated visually from the rest of environments by a yellow line at the top of the application.
The URL to your validation environment will be [companyname]-val.qualitykick.cloud
The validation and production environments will be the same except when new versions have been released.
New releases are first deployed to your validation environment, you will then have 2 months to go over the validation documentation before the new releases are deployed to production.
Besides from the 2 month validation period, your validation and production environments will be the same with regards to functionality, therefore your validation environment is ideal for testing the different existing functionalities before you use them in production.
The URL to your final production environment will be [companyname].qualitykick.cloud.
- Only Users in production environment are invoiced.
- The databases of the 3 environments are completely separated.
- Storage of the 3 environments is also not the same.
- In order to access each environment you will need a User profile for each of them.
